Lavender Sessions - Sunday 13th July - Booking Now

I’m so excited to be returning to the stunning Finchingfield Lavender Field (CM7 4JB) on Sunday 13th July for a day of magical photography sessions among the blooms!

Last year’s sessions were an absolute dream – the setting is so peaceful and picturesque, and I can’t wait to be back. Unlike some of the larger, busier lavender fields where the rows are packed tightly (hello, bees!), Finchingfield offers more spacious planting, which means there’s plenty of room to stroll, relax, and enjoy the experience – especially if you have little ones in tow.

📸 30-minute photography session

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 For one family unit (up to 5 people)

💷 £195 – includes all final professionally edited digital images (usually 25–40 unique photos depending on the session)

Please note: As the field is open to the public on the day, sessions are limited to smaller family groups only.

Golden Hour Sessions - June/July Evenings - Available to book now

There’s nothing quite like the warm, flattering glow of a summer evening! In June and July, the sun sets around 9:15pm – which can be a bit late for little ones – but we can still capture that gorgeous, soft light from as early as 6pm onwards.

I’ll be offering weekday evening sessions throughout the summer, with each shoot lasting 30 minutes – perfect for one family unit. The cost is £175 and includes all of your beautifully edited digital images.

Sessions will take place at hand-picked, scenic spots local to Billericay. Since fields can change quickly with the summer growth and maintenance, I’ll scout the best location (with parking!) based on your shoot date and time to make sure everything’s just right.

Let’s make the most of the long, golden evenings and capture some summer magic together! Don’t panic if the weather isn’t perfect on the day, we can reschedule to another slot!

Sunflower Sessions - Wednesday 30th July

I’m so excited to be returning to the stunning Writtle Sunflowers (CM1 4NW) on Wednesday 30th July for an afternoon and evening of magical family photography.

This breathtaking location offers a truly peaceful and enchanting experience — vibrant blooms, golden evening light, and the kind of backdrop that makes photos feel like memories in the making. 🌅

We’ll have exclusive access to the field (it’s closed to the public during sessions), sharing space respectfully with just a couple of other photographers. If we’re lucky, the wildflower area will also be in bloom to add even more colour and variety to your gallery.

Session Details

• 30 Minute session

• One family unit - up to 5 people - no dogs, sorry

• £195 - This included all of the final edited digital images - normally around 25-40 totally unique quality images captured of you and your gorgeous family

I’d personally recommend these sessions for over 4’s as a rough guideline as the flowers can grow very tall, but thats just a rough guide, younger children can always be held if needs be in the photos by parents and older siblings.

Back to School Sessions - Thurs 28th August & Tues 2nd Sept

This fun and relaxed photoshoot is the perfect keepsake for any child starting school for the first time — or for those already on their school journey! The session is just 15 minutes long, as we’re focusing on capturing one perfect image that truly reflects your child at this moment in time.

During the shoot, we’ll have lots of fun exploring different poses and using a variety of props. Afterwards, I’ll send you a selection of the best images, and you’ll choose your favourite. I’ll then work a little Photoshop magic, and you’ll receive a high-resolution digital image, ready to print, share and treasure forever.

These shoots are ideal for all year groups and even preschoolers. Many families choose to do them annually instead of traditional school photos — it’s a beautiful way to capture who your child is and what they love at each age.

Autumn Mini Sessions - Back in Late October - Details coming soon

Ahhhh Autumn, what’s not to love, the changing colours of the trees, the days getting a little crisper. Lot’s of opportunities for leaf fights, being silly and doing what you do best as a family just having fun whilst I capture the precious moments.

The Autumn shoots are suitable for all ages (babies in arms is absolutely fine) and I know a lot of my clients always use these shoot images to make fabulous Christmas presents for Grandparents etc

Be prepared to arrive a little before your shoot start time as I sometimes get you to meet me in the woods (don’t worry I’ll send a location pin, we won’t get lost) just so we can maximise our time together and as much variety in your images as possible.

I’m more than happy to help out with outfit choices as well, my confirmation email will give you a rough guide to ideal colours and as always, I’m more than happy to help you style your shoot to make sure you are all feeling and looking your best.

2025 Christmas Mini Sessions - Back next year with a new theme - Check back in September 2025

Ohhh it’s the most wonderful time of year!! This will be my 10th year of Christmas mini sessions and I’m so proud to say that I’ve come up with a completely new scene every single year! Last year I created a Christmas Tree Farm - I wonder what I’ll create for this year!

Sessions will be taking place throughout the whole of November - we've got weekends, weekdays, after school - I've tried to find times to suit everyone but once these dates are gone they are gone so book now! 

What does the shoot include?

• Up to 25 minute shoot time

• One family unit - please book two back to back sessions for cousins and I’ll take these images at no extra charge in-between the two sessions

• Parents are welcome to get involved for family pictures

• Babies must be able to sit unassisted or held in a participating sibling/parents lap for the shoot

• In The Box Shoot - £149 - this includes the shoot, my editing time, lots of me time whilst we go back and forth on the best images and of course, the final digital image made of your 9 best images.  You have the final say on what images we use

• Christmas Shoot - £129 this includes the shoot, editing time and ALL digital images - circa 15-20 as a rough estimation, children dependent of course!!

There's a non refundable deposit of £30 to secure your session.  Please ensure you are booking a session that you can attend as it can be very difficult to reschedule at my busiest time of year.  If you should need to completely cancel, the deposit can be moved to any other type of shoot within 12 months as long as cancellations are made within 48 hours notice.

Every child attending will also receive a little present as always.  I’ve already started my Christmas shopping for them all! 

Bluebell Sessions - Back in 2026

The beautiful Bluebell season is one of my absolute favourites and one that I’ve photographed every year since I started my business. I always think they work particuarly well with the younger children as they can run wild and have fun. Ideally these sessions are for babies from walking age upwards as we can get a lot more variety in our images but babies that can sit confidently are always welcomed.

The location will be around the Billericay/Stock/Brentwood area – the exact location will be provided about a week before the shoot once I know where the best coverage is this year. 

Bluebells are funny things and only last around 2 -3 weeks max and sometimes bloom much earlier or later than expected.  I’ve taken these dates based on the last 7 years of doing them so I’m confident that they will be out, but I will also be holding the dates mentioned above as back up days should we need them because they can sometimes bloom much earlier or later than expected and we'll also hold these dates in case of bad weather. 

These sessions are suitable for any age but I really recommend them for younger children and toddlers due to the height of the bluebells.

Once you’re booked in, I’ll send you a confirmation with some ideas on what to dress your little ones in and I’m always happy for you to send me photos of outfit choices if you get stuck.

Rapeseed Flower Fields Sessions - Back in 2026

Think these might be my one of my favourite session types! The yellow flowers are just beautiful and provide the perfect backdrop for capturing your family. These sessions will be 30 minutes in length and are for one family unit only. The exact location will be confirmed a week or so before the shoot but is expected to be in the Billericay or close by area

These sessions are great for all ages but particularly good for slightly older children age 4 and up due to the size of the rapeseed flowers. They’re also really perfect for family photos with the children being held with a sea of gorgeousness behind you!

The shoots are £175 and include all of the final edited digital images. Normally around 20-30 depending on what takes place during the shoot.

Seaside Mini Sessions - Sold Out

Join me next month for a magical beachside photoshoot at one of my favourite hidden gems in Holland-on-Sea, Essex. Picture this: charming beach huts, splashing in the sea, and carefree fun on the sand – the perfect setting for capturing relaxed, joy-filled family memories.

These 40-minute sessions will take place on Sunday 29th June, scheduled for later in the day to make the most of the soft, golden light and a quieter beach atmosphere. I’ve photographed at this spot for years – it never disappoints!

Each session is ideal for a single family unit (up to 5 people), but if you’d love to include grandparents or extended family, no problem – just select the ‘Extended Family’ option when booking (an additional £25 applies to cover the extra editing time).

Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out – let’s make some seaside magic together!

A clothing guide will be included in the confirmation guide and your aways welcome to send me pictures of outfits etc. I’ll give you as much guidance and help as you need.
