In the Box Photoshoot - Thursday 23rd October

Natalie Cornish Photography is coming back to Ramsden Heath Preschool!

I’m so excited to be returning in a couple of weeks — and this year, I’m doing something a little different! Our theme for 2025 is “In the Box” — a fun, creative photoshoot your little one will love.

You can choose from three options:

• Everyday Style: Have your child photographed in their (or your!) favourite outfit. Are they a football fanatic? Perhaps send them in their football kit and a range of props - ball, scarf etc - Either of these options are fab as you can display your image all year round!

• Preschool: Capture them in their preschool uniform

• Festive Fun: Go for a Christmas-themed shoot! Dress your child (or children) in their best festive outfits or Christmas PJs, and I’ll add a sprinkle of magic with Christmas props — ideal for Christmas cards and gifts.

These “In the Box” shoots are normally £195 in the studio, but for Ramsden Heath Preschool families, I’m offering them at a special price of £85.

✅ You will receive one beautifully edited digital image (made up of 9 boxes) yours to download and use online, for prints, gifts etc

Because these sessions take longer to shoot and edit, we’re asking parents to book their children in this year. There’s absolutely no obligation to purchase, but spaces are limited — we have 24 slots available on Thursday 23rd October, booked on a first come, first served basis. Please make sure you have booked your slot before Friday 17th October.

If those fill up quickly, I’ll do my best to return on the Friday for additional sessions if there is enough interest.

Younger siblings who don’t attend preschool are very welcome to join in too! These sessions will take place before preschool starts for the day, and babies must be able to sit confidently on their own for safety reasons.

These portraits also make wonderful Christmas gifts for grandparents and family — and they look gorgeous displayed in your home all year round. Once you have purchased your image you’ll have access to a professional print lab not available to the general public where you can purchase prints or even canvases - prints start at £4 so it’s not a hidden sales pitch. You can also download you image and print anywhere of your choosing.

What else do I need to know?

• The shoots will take place all day on Thursday 23rd October at Ramsden Preschool

• Please send your child in wearing their outfit for their shoot or their outfit in a bag - please ensure your Auntie is aware that they need to change

• You are welcome to bring younger siblings to the shoot and attend before preschool opens - there will be very limited slots for these between 8.00am-9.15am. Younger siblings must be able to sit unaided to take part.

• A few days after the shoot has taken place, you will be sent a draft watermarked copy of the best 9 images of your child in the box formation. It will look a little rough in format and the boxes might look a little wonky, once you have agreed you are happy with your image, you can then pay for your image online and then I’ll tidy it all up for you and send it over for it to be ready for downloading.

• All Christmas props are provided if you opt for a Christmas theme.

• Your child will be sitting in one box - the boxes are then photoshopped together to create the effect. Individual images are not available to purchase (it will look a bit odd them sitting in a box in the preschool hall ha ha). The magic happens with everything is photoshopped together.
